When I headed to New Delhi from Japan by airplane, a lady told me that big festival was holding in Haridwar and she suggested me strongly to join it. “Kumbh Mela” is a festival (mass) Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river and it’s held every 12 years. And a lot of “SADHU”s gather too. Generally, they live in countryside and practice YOGA and meditation. They are religious ascetic or holy person. I met them in the mass and could communicate with them. I had a lunch and took a nap with them. I was so lucky, because if I couldn’t join it, next chance will be in 2022.
